Video / Web Design Intern
Fall 2007
During the Fall Semester of 2007 I worked as a paid intern for a small company called Sagebit. There were two or three web developers and the man that hired me, Jess McCarter. During this internship I was given a small camcorder, I traveled to youth soccer games and filmed the games from various angles. I did this on several occasions. I took the footage home and I edited it and added music using Adobe Premiere Pro and I took that footage to upload to the website they were developing.
Myself and another intern also created a lot of website mock ups when we didn't have video to edit.

Art/Production Intern
Summer 2007
The Indianapolis Business Journal, may have been the most fulfilling internship I had the pleasure of having. An unpaid internship, but the one I learned by far the most from. During my days at the IBJ aside from typical intern duties like filling the printer and getting coffee, I used a program called QuarkXPress to edit and create new ads in the hopes that one would make a print. I also had the opportunity of becoming much more familiar with using an Apple Computer and Adobe Photoshop. Some of my ads and art from this internship can be provided upon request.
One ad I updated and edited did get featured as an insert during my internship.
Video Intern
Summer 2009
During the summer of 2009 I interned at NUVO - Indy's Alternative voice, as a video intern. During my internship I was asked to attend certain events, and was given a media pass to be able to come and go as needed. The intent was to film interviews between on camera talent and company owners or someone from the event. Also to capture B-Roll shots of the event or venue in general. I took the video I shot and edited it to create the final video that could be uploaded to the NUVO website. There was typically another intern at the same event with the purpose of being the on camera talent. Please click the links below for some of the videos I created during my internship.
