Dragon Stork baby shower invitations
I had a request to come up with a dragon inspired stork baby show themed invitation. There was also a request to include a castle.
I created the dragon stork by finding examples of already existing winged characters and dragon features. I then meshed these characters together and created the final dragon stork you see here.
I used two programs for this project, Photoshop to create the meshed up version and Illustrator to create my final character.
Photoshop was again used to create the final invitation.
I used three images I found online as examples for my dragon stork. I traced the parts of the body labeled from each example.
Dragon Base
This is the final meshed up version of a dragon stork that I used as a base example to trace my final character from.
Using the pen tool in Illustrator I traced all of the features I wanted my dragon stork to have.
Below you can see a small portion of how many layers it took to complete the character.
